Albert Pujols was not with the St. Louis Cardinals because the team won the planet Series back 2011. 10 years later, after his release from the LA Angels early in the 2021 season and short stint with the Dodgers, Pujols announced he’d go back to the Cardinals in 2022. However, this year will be his last.
After taking part in the house Run Derby, Pujols has been burning, hitting homers at a far more frequent rate. With that, he could be now near becoming the fourth player in baseball history going to 700 home runs within their career.
