This show includes a fascinating premise: People can elect to undergo an operation called severance, which separates their work-related and personal memories. Adam Scott’s character spends eight hours of your day in a sanitized, strikingly white work place without recollection of his outside life. Soon, a former co-worker turns up with a warning concerning the strange company. A mind-bending and suspenseful sci-fi thriller — enjoying Severance is not any just work at all.

The Shrink NEARBY (2021)

In my own book, any show that casts both Will Ferrell and Paul Rudd as its leads has already been doing something very right. In the drama miniseries The Shrink NEARBY, Ferrell and Rudd play characters on opposite ends of the personality spectrum — Ferrell is really a sniffling, timid textile business proprietor, and his co-star can be an egotistic therapist with manipulative tendencies. Once the two are together, the effect is both unsettling and tantalizing, making The Shrink NEARBY something you will want to check out on your own.
