Bloombergs Jason Schreier shed some information regarding rumors with this game, including that its setting is Baghdad and that it returns to the fundamentals. Its reportedly more similar to the initial several Assassins Creed games, as opposed to the newer RPG-centric ones like Assassins Creed Valhalla.

Reports remember that it’ll release sometime in Spring 2023, though Ubisoft has yet to reveal an effective date itself. The overall game, however, will reportedly not include multiple cities to explore, indicating that it’ll center squarely on Baghdad. Considering the brand new art, the sandy background certainly appears to back up leaks that the overall game occurs in Baghdad. Its hard to draw way too many additional information than that, though a bird in the promo art could signal that avian companions are returning.

Platforms for the overall game havent been revealed yet, nonetheless it will probably release on its usual platforms including PC, PlayStation, and Xbox. Whether Ubisoft decides to only stick to the PS5 and Xbox Series and ditch the prior consoles, PS4 and Xbox One, is up in the air at this time.

It appears like Assassins Creed Mirage may be the final game in the series before Ubisoft creates Assassins Creed Infinity, which aims to be always a big live service attempt with the franchise.
