‘Black Myth: Wukong’ gets two new trailers however, not a release date

Every August for the past 2 yrs, Chinese developer Game Science Studio has released new gameplay footage from its upcoming action RPG Black Myth: Wukong. Not just one to miss a beat, it did the same this season. On Friday, the studio shared a fresh eight-minute gameplay trailer and six-minute in-game cutscene. Similar to last years Unreal Engine 5 reveal, the former is partly a showcase for NVIDIAs DLSS AI-powered upscaling tech, and you may see just what a difference it and per year of additional work has designed for the games framerate. In comparison to last years trailer, the action is smoother and you can find fewer framerate drops.

We also see Game Science Studio iterate on From Softwares Souls formula in several interesting ways. Among my favorites involves a plant the protagonist would go to pick up in regards to a third of just how through the clip. If they head to pull it from the bottom, the plant actually is an enemy that may root the ball player set up, leaving them susceptible to its hard-hitting sweep attacks. Its a great twist on From Softwares mimic chests which should force you always to be on your own toes. Are you aware that cinematic trailer, it includes a brand new look at Wukongs Journey to the West-inspired tale. Its hard to state the way the scene we see will match the broader story Game Science hopes to inform, however the studio obviously includes a talent for animation.

Unfortunately, neither trailer ends with a release date for the overall game. Back 2020, Game Science Studio said it had been hoping to create Black Myth: Wukong to PC and consoles by 2023.
