Bravo Condemns Hateful Comments About Garcelle Beauvais’ Son

Bravo is going for a stand.

In a show of support for Garcelle Beauvais‘ 14-year-old son Jax, who’s been on the receiving end of hateful comments on social mediasomefromthosewho claim to be fans of THE TRUE Housewives of Beverly Hillsthe network issued a statement condemning the cruel behavior.

“We have been shocked and appalled at the social comments fond of Garcelle’s son,” Bravo’s statement read. “We urge our viewers and social followers alike to avoid targeting our cast and their own families with harmful rhetoric.”

Grateful to start to see the network had her back, Garcelle reposted the statement. “Thanks @bravotv for the support!!” she captioned the photo on Instagram and Twitter. “It isn’t ok!!!”

All of those other Real Housewives of Beverly Hills cast also reposted the message with their respective Instagram pages or shared on Instagram Stories. Otherstars did exactly the same, including Vanderpump RulesKatie Maloney and Lisa Rinna‘s husband, Harry Hamlin.

THE TRUE Housewives of NJ‘s Teresa Giudice wrote her very own response, paired with an image of a grown-up and child holding hands. “I’m heartbroken for @garcelle & her family to endure hateful and disgusting messages,” Teresa captioned the Aug. 25 Instagram post. “I’m heartbroken if you are on the receiving end of the hateful bullying. Stop this vile behavior, all we wish is for the children to cultivate up within an accepting loving world, most of us deserve that.”

The outpouring of support employs both Garcelle and Jax made their very own pleas to internet trolls. The latter’s began, “Let me start by saying that I’m still a youngster and desire to not be looked at as a completely matured adult, because I’m not just one.”

“It really is currently my first week of senior high school and, rather than enjoying it like the majority of kids within my school, I must cope with being attacked on social media marketing,” Jax wrote in an email that Garcelle shared to her socials. “I did so not join this show, nor do I’ve anything regarding the show’s drama. I simply want to become a normal kid.”

And like many normal kids, he’s got an Instagramone that “isn’t for publicity nor the public’s gaze,” he continued, “but to be observed by my peers as yet another kid.” However, given that he’s being spammed with cruel comments, Jax said he’s making the account private despite the fact that he “really wished to avoid” it.

“The constant support from everyone helps it be a lot more tolerable,” he added. “However, middle aged women spamming me with racist and crude comments about my children isn’t what I expected for my first week of senior high school. Thank you for all your positive comments. It truly means too much to me.”

In her first postconcerning the harassment, Garcelle shared an identical sentiment. “I’m usually an extremely strong woman I am raised to be strong my entire life has taught me to be strong however when it involves my kids!” she tweeted on Aug. 23. “It hurts it isn’t OK.”

“I am in tears forever,” added the RHOBH star, who’s also mom to Jax’s twin brotherJaidalong with her eldest son,Oliver, 31.”it’s only a Television show people scream at your TV throw something at your TV but leave our children alone #RHOBH.”
