Angela Yee is leaving “The Breakfast Club,” however, not before they are able to find her replacement — an activity that she says she is going to help.
The longtime radio host was in NYC Wednesday — soon after her announcing that she was starting her very own nationally syndicated show — and she told us the search for a fresh female co-host to become listed on DJ Envy and Charlamagne Tha God hasn’t really begun yet.
It’ll definitely progress now, though, since word’s out. And, so far as choosing the successor … AY tells us she’ll likely have a submit that, even though guys could have final say.
Our photog floats one name to possibly replace Angela, and she doesn’t shoot it down. If anything, she embraces this potential pick — someone who’s been on the show a whole lot.
With regards to how Angela thinks ‘TBC’ can do in her absence … she says it’ll oftimes be just fine. Yes, the dynamic changes with a fresh host in her old chair — but it doesn’t indicate much changes with regards to success. So, she’s rooting for ’em.
It’s certainly the finish of a time — Angela’s been there for a few of the wildest interviews through the years, and her presence will undoubtedly be missed. To greener pastures, as the saying goes.
