The Denver Broncos were likely to make easy work of the Seattle Seahawks. Instead, they struggled mightily on the initial Monday Night Football game of the 2022 season.

By acquiring quarterback Russell Wilson, the Denver Broncos were likely to finally surpass their expectations and make their first visit to the playoffs since their Super Bowl 50 victory. That they had the opportunity to make a good example of the Seattle Seahawks, Wilsons former team, in the growing season premiere of Monday Night Football.

Instead, the Broncos struggled to call home around the hype. From multiple penalties and turnovers, they actually trailed the Seahawks 17-10 entering the fourth quarter.

The Broncos had three timeouts on their final drive in the fourth quarter. Head coach Nathaniel Hackett used do not require, allow clock tick right down to significantly less than 30 seconds, and on fourth-and-five, made a decision to let Brandon McManus attempt a 64-yard field goal. McManus missed, and clinched the 17-16 victory for the Seahawks.

These quarterbacks make $40M per year. They can figure out how to have a snap and fall forward in to the end zone. That is insanity.

Russ Wilson playing around creating a few rando big plays, aka the most common

Ridiculous RB rotation that ensures neither back enters a rhythm with a declining vet limiting the impact of these best offensive player.

The Broncos had the chance to obtain ahead on the scoreboard multiple times through the game. Actually, Denver was in debt zone twice in the 3rd quarter.

On fourth and goal, Russell Wilson handed the ball off to Melvin Gordon, who fumbled the ball. The next drive after forcing a fumble on Seahawks wide receiver DK Metcalf, the Broncos were back the red zone once more. Once more on Seattles one-yard line, Denvers second year running back Javonte Williams attemptedto run into the finish zone. Instead, he fumbled the ball in to the end zone, that was recovered by Seattle cornerback Mike Jackson Sr.

In accordance with CBS Sports, the Broncos will be the first team since 1987 to reduce two fumbles on the one-yard line in exactly the same game.

Two chances to place points on the board, Denver were left with none. Actually, these were 0-for-4 in debt zone on the night time.

Meanwhile, Geno Smith had himself a casino game, as he completed 23-of-28 of his pass attempts for 195 yards and two touchdowns.

Wilson completed 29-of-42 pass attempts for 340 yards,and something touchdown.

It had been an excellent win by the Seahawks, but a horrific loss by the Broncos.
