Call of Duty Next is nearly here, promising a tidal wave of news and updates on the continuing future of Activision’s perennially popular FPS series.

With the release of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 coming, be prepared to hear a lot of information regarding the series next mainline release. The games beta testing window is approaching later this month, so hopefully a few of our biggest worries will undoubtedly be answered before we get the opportunity to go hands-on.

Spin-off battle royale Warzone 2 (opens in new tab) can be in the crosshairs. Activisions kept pretty tight-lipped on which we are able to expect from the follow-up to Warzone around this aspect, so we expect some major info drops these times. The battle royales mobile version can be set to obtain a look-in, and can hopefully show us the way the game has been ported to the handheld system.

Call of Duty Next is defined to air on Thursday, September 15. Heres when you’re able to catch it in your timezone:

  • 12: 30pm EST
  • 5: 30pm BST
  • 2: 30am AEST (Friday, September 16)

Call of Duty Next: what things to expect

Activisions already confirmed a few of the major reveals for the upcoming showcase. Be prepared to visit a full multiplayer reveal of Modern Warfare 2, which we expect will span game modes, maps, and much more. A lot of streamers will undoubtedly be playing the overall game in real-time, giving us our best consider the games multiplayer yet.

Warzone 2 may also be discussed through the showcase. Beyond confirming the games existence, Activision hasnt given much away in regards to what we are able to expect from the battle royale sequel. A written report from earlier this season suggested it could come in 2023, so were hoping to obtain final confirmation on a launch date.

Call of Duty Next may also touch on the upcoming mobile version of Warzone. Even though port was announced earlier this season, without any details have already been released yet.
