Caps Begin 2022-23 Training Camp Presented by MedStar Health on Sept. 22

ARLINGTON, Va. – The Washington Capitals will start their 2022-23 Training Camp presented by MedStar Health insurance and hold Caps Media Day on Thursday, Sept. 22 at MedStar Capitals Iceplex, senior vice president and general manager Brian MacLellan announced today.

All Capitals players, coaches and management will undoubtedly be open to the media. The entire training camp schedule and roster will undoubtedly be announced at a later time. Much like previous years, MedStar Capitals Iceplex will undoubtedly be closed to the media on Wednesday, Sept. 21 – your day Capitals veterans conduct physicals and off-ice testing. This marks the Capitals’ 16th training camp at MedStar Capitals Iceplex, the Metro-accessible, inside-the-Beltway practice facility that has two NHL-sized rinks. All on-ice sessions will undoubtedly be open to the general public and cost-free.

Before the start of NHL training camp, the Capitals Rookie Camp will run from Thursday, Sept. 15 through Monday, Sept. 19 at MedStar Capitals Iceplex. On the list of Capitals rookies scheduled to take part in the camp will undoubtedly be Hendrix Lapierre, Vincent Iorio, Clay Stevenson and Bear Hughes. A whole roster will undoubtedly be released at a later time.
