During the last couple of years, UFC president Dana White has seen a lot of standout performances on the Tuesday Night Contender Series. Some fighters have already been signed among others havent but on the way, weve had the opportunity to witness some breakout stars make their mark.

This week, the big attraction in the primary event of the evening was collegiate wrestling star Bo Nickal and he didnt disappoint with a submission victory over Zachary Borrego inside 62 seconds.

The win took him to 2-0 with many expecting him to get a contract by the boss. Ultimately, though, that didnt find yourself happening, with White using his post-fight press conference to describe why.

Hes 1-0, 2-0 now, fought a youngster that has been 3-0, managed to get look quite simple, White said. Lets get him yet another fight and lets test him. [If he] gets past that with flying colors, we bring him in and we give him a fight in the UFC.

I believe only 1 guy has can be found in at like 1-0 and did anything and I believe it had been Brock [Lesnar], also to be honest with you, I dont remember. Brock was something similar to that. So, yeah, hes a stud.

I dont know very well what else he may have done to check much better, White said. He looked incredible. The only real reason I didnt sign him tonight is basically because hes 2-0 now. We got eight more weeks of the. You will want to have him fight here again, guess what happens After all? It just is practical.
