DeAnna Bennett expecting a complete new fight in rematch with Justine Kish at Bellator 284

Looking back at her make an impression on Justine Kish at Bellator 274 in February, flyweight DeAnna Bennett feels that it wasnt just good to kick her year off with a victory, but returning from a potentially career-threatening situation and just in order to fight again was a large thing.

Following Bennetts make an impression on Alejandra Lara at Bellator 265 in September of this past year, her career may have arrived at a halt because of an illness which could have taken among appendages and perhaps permanently damaged others.

In November of this past year I finished up very sick and was in a healthcare facility for nine days and almost lost my foot and thought I had irreparable damage in my own hand, Bennett told The doctors explained that I would lose my foot rather than fight again, so to venture out there and obtain that win it felt great.

To be myself and do what I understand I could do was amazing. I loved every second of this fight (against Kish in February).

Time for fighting and picking right up a win wasnt the only real big happening for Bennett in 2022. Following a victory over Kish, Bennett made a proceed to a fresh team and feels its been paying down in training since.

Coming off that win in February Ive made lots of changes since that time, said Bennett. I actually uprooted from NJ to Philadelphia and joined the Gracie/Marquez team.

Its an incredible room to stay. They push me each day. I reach train side-by-side with one of these amazing people each day, plus they push me, so its made the very best fighter Ive ever been.

This Friday in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, Bennett (12-7-1) can look to get her third win in a row when she rematches Kish (8-5) in an initial 125-pound bout at Bellator 284.

Honestly I dont desire to compare it to the final fight, Bennett said. I’ve people saying that I already beat (Kish), therefore i understand how to beat her and I could repeat, but I understand personally for myself I could be considered a different fighter, I wish to continue steadily to evolve and become an improved fighter, and Personally i think she does aswell, so Im taking it as a totally different independent new fight.

I expect her ahead out with a fresh game plan and its own going to be considered a totally new fight this time around.

Should Bennett defeat Kish again, shes got an obvious goal at heart that shed prefer to achieve prior to the end of 2022.

I would like to cap off my year with the belt, said Bennett. I’ve a birthday by the end of the entire year, in November, and I believe the best personal gift I possibly could give myself is really a brand spanking new shiny Bellator belt.
