Delays are accumulated for a fresh Texas mill being built by among the largest US steelmakers to provide metal for electric vehicles.

Steel Dynamics Inc. told a crowd greater than 1,000 individuals who its Sinton, Texas, mill wont reach 80% utilization before end of the entire year, pushing back a previous timeline to attain that level by 90 days. CEO Mark Millett revealed at a business conference in Atlanta that delays that dogged the mill in July were because of equipment problems and power issues linked to a substation.
