‘Deplorable’: FBI Director Christopher Wray Denounces Threats After Mar-a-Lago Raid

FBI Director Christopher Wray has denounced deplorable and dangerous threats contrary to the agency following raid on former President Donald Trumps private residence in Florida.

In reaction to various threats circulating online, primarily on Gab, Wray told the Associated Press that violence against police is not the solution.

Im always worried about threats to police, Wray said. Violence against police is not the solution, regardless of who youre upset with.

Wray declined to touch upon Mondays raid at the former presidents private residence of Mar-a-Lago, where reportedly 30 agents raided his private office and also former first lady Melania Trumps wardrobe. Per the NY Post:

FBI agents scoured Melania Trumps wardrobe and spent a long timecombing through Donald Trumps private office, breaking open his safe and rifling through drawers if they raided the former First Familys Mar-a-Lago home in Florida Monday morning.

The Post has learned that the search warrant utilized by the FBI toenter the palatial Palm Beach propertyfocused solely on presidential records and proof classified information being stored there.

A source near to the former president expressed concern that FBI agents or DOJ lawyers conducting the search may have planted stuff since they wouldn’t normally allow Trumps attorneys in the 128-room building to see the operation, which lasted a lot more than nine hours.

Almost all Republicans and the former presidents supporters denounced the raid as a blatant power grab by the Biden Justice Department, likening it to third-world dictator tactics. Bidens supporters and the left, generally, have all denounced those responses as dangerous rhetoric which could result in violence.
