Wielding real or toy guns, angry Lebanese have forced their way into as much as seven banks this week to gain access to trapped savings, because the countrys crippling financial meltdown pushes visitors to take regulations to their own hands.

Informal capital controls come in place across Lebanon — blocking bank customers from withdrawing foreign currency and savings completely — being an economic implosion that began 3 years ago shows no sign of easing.
