From going for a bullet for his or her owner to saving them from drowning, dogs are really man’s companion.

Now, a guard dog gets the internet in hysterics after scaring off two teenage intruders attempting to rob his owner’s house.

Caught on CCTV and shared on TikTok by user sumwatkewt on June 21, the pooch’s surprise attack was terrifying for the intruders but hilarious to those watching in the home. (No teenagers were harmed in the making of the video.)

“Here they come, some naughty naughty kids arrived at rob the house,” said her son Issac in the clip. “At 5.13 in the fmorning.”

In the video, an adolescent is seen sneaking in to the family’s garden, while another keeps watch.

“Sneaky sneaky,” said sumwatkewt because the youth slowly opens leading gate. “What’s he searching for?”

Out of nowhere, Belgian shepherd Loki appears and heads straight for the intruder. Both youths run because of their lives, with Loki close behind.

“Off he fgoes,” says Issac. “And there goes Loki straight after them. Don’t worry, Loki returned.”

The intruders left so fast, they didn’t even close the gate, which Issac said was “rude.”

“They might have closed it for all of us,” said sumwatkewt.

“These were too busy sthemselves,” replied Issac.

There have been 314.2 burglaries for each and every 100,000 residents in the usa in 2021, in accordance with Statista. New Mexico had the best rate of incidents, with 6.48.8 burglaries per 100,000 residents. New Hampshire gets the lowest rate, with only 103.3 home robberies per 100,000 citizens.

Research by the U.S. Department of Justice discovered that burglaries are likely to happen during the warm months. Thirty-four percent of burglars enter a residence via leading door, and houses without security systems are 300 times more prone to be robbed.

In a 2016 survey of convicted burglars in NY and NJ, several reported using social media marketing to get targets and the optimum time to strike, with midnight to 4 a.m. the very best time and energy to break in.

TikTok users couldn’t get enough of Loki’s heroic actions, with the video receiving over 150,000 likes and much more than 1,700 shares.

“Loki is a great boy,” said Oracle. “Even returned.”

“Just how Loki pounces is indeed funny,” wrote Jade Rustandi.

“Im crying,” commented Sam Mack. “Love how doggo waited quietly for his guest to totally arrive.”

Nicola Sewell said: “Loki understood the assignment.”

Although Loki could have his role down as a guard dog, other pups aren’t quite around the task, with one fearsome-looking canine recently dubbed “the world’s worst guard dog.” While doing some DIY throughout the house, Tommy’s owner donned protective overalls and a nose and mouth mask.

Unfortunately, Tommy didn’t recognize his owner and dashed by way of a window, to the internet’s amusement.
