Each day in the life span of a Chinese robotaxi driver

Because Id never experienced a self-driving car, I’d get afraid when I first started this job because I had not been the main one controlling it. How will you feel about your task? Do you feel just like you’re having a direct effect on the progression of self-driving technology?

Since we have been in the automobile every day, we are able to identify more problems and report them afterwards. We help the technology departments match whats happening to the cars every day and what problems have to be solved.

The target with self-driving would be to eliminate any driver or safety operator. Lets say in a single year or five years, no safety operator is necessary anymore. Whats your job plan?
