First Shipment Of Ukrainian Grain Departs From Odesa Port

A shipment of grains left the Ukrainian port of Odesa on Monday for the very first time because the start of Russias invasion of Ukraine within a UN-brokered deal that’s likely to ease global food supply concerns.

The shipment was announced in a statement issued by the UN Secretary-Generals office noting that the vessel M/V Razoni was carrying a cargo of 26,527 tonnes of corn.

The vessel will first go through Istanbul where it’ll be inspected and move towards Tripoli, Lebanon, that is currently facing a severe economic and food crisis.

Based on the shipping tracker Vessel Finder, the M/V Razoni departed the port of Odesa at 9.55 am local time on Monday.

A UN-Chartered ship can be set to reach in Odesa sometime within the next few days to get 30,000 metric a great deal of Ukrainian wheat within a purchase by the planet Food Programme.
