Former Nick star Josh Peck calls Jeanette McCurdy incredibly brave

Josh Peck is pleased with his fellow Nickelodeon alum pal, Jeanette McCurdy, for penning her book, Im Glad My Mom Died.

I believe she actually is incredibly brave to inform her story also to be as honest as she actually is, the Drake & Josh star told Page Six in a recently available interview.

I believe among her great talents is her wit and how thoughtful she actually is so when soon when i could grab the book I did so because I must say i wanted to start to see the way she informed her story.

The iCarly stars recently released memoir as its title suggests delves in to the complicated relationship she had with her mother, who controlled her every move and forced her daughter to become child actor. McCurdys mother died of cancer in 2013 once the Sam & Cat star was 21.

The other day, Peck posted a sweet snap of himself on Instagram, hugging McCurdy and captioning it: My pal Jennette wrote a book and its own out today. Shes brave, funny, and thoughtful with techniques few are. Obtain it today!

The actor, 35, can currently be observed as a Rabbi guiding a boy through his bar-mitzvah in the movie 13: The Musical. The musical which also stars Debra Messing and Rhea Perlman can be an adaptation of an effective Broadway show.

Pecks own bar-mitzvah was fitting for somebody who started performing stand-up at 10 yrs . old at Carolines on Broadway.

My bar-mitzvah involved me performing for a minimum of 45 minutes performing a medley of songs, a duet with my mother, and stand-up comedy, therefore i think its no real surprise why Im still in therapy till today, he said with fun.
