Hitman 3 patch brings tropical new map, other gameplay fixes detailed

IO Interactive has detailed all of the improvements and new content that is included with Hitman 3’s latest patch today.

First up, we’ve an improved look at Ambrose Island, Hitman 3’s new and free map. It is a tropical romp filled with sandy shores, lush vegetation… and much more than just several places to cover a body. Sounds right up 47’s street. The map will additionally bring new items for 47 to unlock, including a swashbuckling Kukri Machete, the Guerilla Wetsuit and a Molotov Cocktail to mention several.

IO in addition has revealed the opening cinematic for the Ambrose Island mission, which includes some familiar faces in addition to new targets within. You can observe it on your own below.

Oooh ahhh, it’s Ambros(ia) Island.

For other additions to Hitman 3, this patch brings DLSS version 2.4.3 to PC, along with changes to Activity Cards for PlayStation 5 users. Once this update is rolled out, players should see “more relevant” ones shown “predicated on everything you own”. Players also needs to see a standard improvement in the game’s stability on all platforms.

Meanwhile, this patch will finally stop that Tropical suit from Haven Island being “waaay too shiny” and NPC’s should no more get stuck within an animation loop after 47 knocks them out with a sedative syringe. In IOI’s words, “she’s stopped gurgling”.
