India’s Modi to wait SCO regional security bloc summit in a few days

MUMBAI, Sept 11 (Reuters) – Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi will attend a summit of regional security bloc Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) in a few days, the federal government said in a statement on Sunday.

It said Modi will probably hold bilateral meetings on the sidelines of the summit throughout a two-day stop by at Uzbekistan, that is hosting the function, from Sept. 15.

In accordance with media reports, Chinese President Xi Jinping, Russian President Vladimir Putin, Pakistan Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi are likely to attend exactly what will function as SCO’s 22nd meeting.

The bloc also contains Kazakhstan along with other Parts of asia.
