However, not exactly because her mom, late actress/model Nancy Dow, was supportive.

In a 2015 interview withThe Hollywood Reporter, Aniston gave fans a glimpse into her relationship with her mom, including some experiences that left them not speaking for a long time. “She had a temper. I cannot tolerate that,” Aniston said of her mother. “EASILY get upset, I’ll discuss [things]. I’ll never scream and obtain hysterical like this. [But] I was never taught that I possibly could scream. Onetime, I raised my voice to my mother, and I screamed at her, and she viewed me and burst out laughing. She was laughing at me [for] screaming back. Also it was such as a punch in my own stomach.”
“She was critical. She was very critical of me. Because she was a model, she was gorgeous, stunning. I wasn’t. I never was. I honestly still don’t believe of myself for the reason that type of light, that is fine. She was also very unforgiving. She’d hold grudges that I simply found so petty.”
In accordance with multiple sources, Aniston chose never to invite her mom to her weddings to Brad Pitt in 2000 and Justin Theroux in 2015. Dow had given several interviews about her relationship with Aniston through the entire years, even writing a tell-all book in 1999 called “Mother to Daughter to Friends: A Memoir.” For Aniston’s wedding to Theroux, however, Dow seemed supportive despite not attending. “I believe it’s wonderful!” shetold Radar Online.
Aniston and Dow were thought to have composed after some duration before Dow’s death, and since her passing it appears the “Murder Mystery” star has arrived at understand her mom’s behavior just a little better. In a 2018interview with Elle, Aniston said:
“My mom said those ideas because she really loved me. It wasn’t her attempting to be considered a bh or knowing she’d be making some deep wounds that I’d then spend big money to undo. She achieved it because that has been what she was raised with.”
