Jeffrey Dean Morgan Officially Joins The Boys Season 4

Jeffrey Dean Morgan is finally joining The Boys in season four, marking his reunion with Supernatural showrunner Eric Kripke.

Jeffrey Dean Morgan is officially amongThe Boys.

The Supernaturalalum will join season four of the Prime Video series within an undisclosed role.The Boys‘ official Twitter account confirmed the news headlines Aug. 25, sharing an image of Jeffrey asking to wear some tights.

“Chuffed to welcome @JDMorgan to The Boys S4,” the caption reads. “Can’t confirm if he’s gettin’ any tights, though.”

While there is no word on the tights, Jeffrey, who’s filmingThe Walking Dead spin-offDead City, continues to be excited to become listed on the series. “Can’t let you know how excited I’m!” he tweeted. “Big because of @therealKripke and @AMCPlus & @TheBoysTV for getting a way with both schedules. No easy task. SO DAMN STOKED!!”

This moment has been months in the making, with showrunnerEric Kripke, who also createdSupernatural, telling E! News in June that he and Jeffrey were already in talks. “We’re racking your brains on something for season four,” Eric said. “Nothing finalized yet, but he and I are chatting and e-mailing and seeing it we are able to make it happen along with his busy schedule. So, keep tuned in on that.”

Since it is, Eric has recently recruited Jensen Acklesto star in the violent comedy.The Dean Winchester actorplayed OG supeSoldier Boy in season three and is likely to appear in the brand new season.

Karl Urban, who plays Billy the Butcher, confirmed filming has already been underway within an Aug. 14 Instagram post, to which Jensen commented, “Pour me a double… I’m on my way,” in accordance withUproxx.

Given that Jensen has clinched an area on The Boys cast, Eric is hoping to rope in Jared Padalecki, too. The showrunner told E! News, “I’d put Jared on the show in a heartbeat. He’s really busy along with his empire over there in Austin, but if it had been ready to play, I’d put him on the show in another.”

Here’s hoping Eric gets his wish!
