Candace Cameron Bure & Jodie Sweetin Talk “Fuller House” Ending

The actress, 40, and her fianc were married in an exclusive ceremony at a house in Malibu, Calif. on July 30, her rep confirmed to E! News. In accordance withPeople, the longtime lovebirds were joined on the wedding day by 50 guests, including Jodie’sFull Housecastmates John Stamos, Candace Cameron Bure andAndrea Barber.
“I understand I have the proper partner for the others of whatever life brings me,” Jodie told the outlet. “I couldn’t become more grateful.”
On the wedding day, Jodie wore a sensational, whitelacewedding gown from Lili Bridalswitha sparkling chokerand floral hairpin. Mescal sported a black tuxedo, filled with a powder blue pocket square and matching tie.
The pair, who got engaged in January, kept their festivities sweet and simple. Jodie walked down the aisle with her fatherSam, while her two daughtersZoie, 14, andBeatrix, 11stood at their mom’s side while she and Mescal said, “I really do.”
“Mescal makes me feel absolutely comfortable and secure to shine as bright when i have to,” Jodie toldPeople. “He steps up and turns up for my girls. And we harmonize so well. He’s actually the best teammate I possibly could require.”
Jodie, who has been married 3 x before, and Mescalbegan along-distancerelationshipback 2017. Mescal later moved from NY to Los Angelesin 2020to be nearer to Jodie, the magazine reported.
At the start of the entire year, the pair revealed on Instagram they had gotten engaged just days before Jodie’s 40th birthday on January 19.
“I really like you Mescal, for always. You’re my person,” Jodie wrote on her January 17 post, which featured her new diamond shaped gemstone. “I cannot wait to start to see the life that lies ahead for all of us. Here’s to us, @ghostfacelito and our life of adventures. Together.”
