Jordan Peele Hints At Potential Nope Sequel

Jordan Peele has teased that his Nope film could possibly be receiving the sequel treatment. During an interview with THE BRAND NEW York Times, the Academy Award-winning director discussed everythingNope. Well, generally.

Peele was deceptively scant through the interview along with hisNoperevelations, refusing to answer for the strange standing shoe during Gordys rampage. However, he did offer insight into whats next for him and revealed that hes not finished with the films universe yet, referencing Michael Buschs character, Nobody, who was simply cut from the ultimate movie.

The story of [Nobody] has yet to find out, I can let you know that. That is another frustrating method of saying, Im glad folks are attending to, the acclaimed director slyly expressed.

Jordan added more context to his revelation, giving desire to a potentialNope follow-up.I really do think they’ll have more answers on a few of these things later on, Peele declared. Weren’t over telling most of these stories.

Nope was one of the primary original screenplays of 2022, opening to $44M at the domestic box office. It became the highest-grossing original screenplay in 2019 since Peeles Us achieved exactly the same feat. Furthermore, the film became the directors third consecutive project to debut at No. 1.
