Seattle Mariners rookie Julio Rodriguez is having an unbelievable begin to his MLB career and is making history with a few of the most elite players.

Seattle Mariners rookie Julio Rodriguez, nicknamed J-Rod, is having among the best possible starts to his MLB career.

Hes already established himself as an enormous asset in Seattle, and hes joining elite company because the fourth AL player 21 or under going to 25+ homers in his first MLB season.

Julio Rodrguez may be the 4th AL player age 21-or-younger going to 25+ home runs in his first MLB season, joining Joe DiMaggio (1936), Ted Williams (1939) & Eddie Murray (1977).

Rodriguez can be considered a leader in Seattle, despite being new to the majors.

In accordance with Daniel Kramer of MLB.com, the young rookie is a leader to his teammates in the dugout. Rodriguez reportedly approached teammate Paul Sewald, referred to as disheartened [with his] head firmly in his hands, soon after Sewald quit a homer. He gave Sewald motivation and declared to him that Seattle would storm back and win.

Then let his teammates know he supported them in the dugout and said,Even whenever someone is down, most of us sort of have that brotherhood that, In the event that you dont take action, Im likely to give you a hand, Im likely to pick you up. Its pretty cool what we’ve with this team at this time.

Hes certainly a leader both on / off the field. Though theres always room for improvement, hes having an improved rookie season than most and hell likely only continue steadily to progress.
