Junior dos Santos believes Ciryl Gane has some dirty tricks up his sleeve.

Gane took center stage inside Accor Arena in Paris, France on September 3. He shared the Octagon with Tai Tuivasa. While Tuivasa showed heart, he ultimately crumbled after being on a receiving end of a barrage of heavy strikes from Gane in the 3rd round. Bam Bam dropped to the mat from an uppercut and Gane sealed the offer with several hammerfists.

Even though many have praised Ganes performance, dos Santos includes a different take. He hopped on his Twitter account to accuse the former interim UFC Heavyweight Champion of bending the guidelines.

Que cara sujo esse Gane

De novo batendo na nuca, o que esses especialistas vo dizer agora?

Just what a dirty fighter this Gane is

Again hitting the trunk of the top

Nad now what exactly are those fight experts will say about any of it? @ufc @danawhite

JDS took exception to the final of his December 2020 bout with Gane, which ended in a second-round TKO loss for Cigano. Following the fight, dos Santos insisted he was hit in the rear of the top (via MMAJunkie).

Personally i think bad that situation eliminates the shine of the victory, but its also not OK, Dos Santos said back December 2020. (Its) not to expect me to have a loss from an illegal blow. I am hoping you guys trust me. I understand my situation isnt good in the business, but thats not the reason why to suddenly stop enforcing rules or stop ensuring my safety in the cage.

Its obvious that dos Santos still hasnt forgotten their encounter. Following loss, Cigano premiered by the UFC. He previously been with the promotion since 2008 before receiving his walking papers. He returned to action back May against Yorgan De Castro for an Eagle FC event but he lost the bout because of shoulder injury.
