Former Trump administration official Kash Patel told Fox News that as president, Donald Trump had the energy to declassify any documents he wanted.
Patels comments were made on Sunday Morning Futures, where he noted that in October 2020, Trump declassified several documents linked to Russiagate and Hillary Clinton. It is a key proven fact that most Americans are missing: President Trump, as a sitting president, is really a unilateral authority for declassification, he is able to literally stand over a couple of documents and say, they are now declassified, which is finished with definitive action immediately, Patel claimed.

The legality of Trumps capability to make sweeping declassification orders was brought into question following the FBI raided his Mar-a-Lago property, where they claimed they found several classified documents. The FBI left a warrant that indicated these were investigating the former president for potential violations of laws related to the mishandling of classified material, NBC News noted.
Sources claimed that the FBI were searching for classified documents associated with nuclear weapons, the Washington Post reported. Trump has denied the report he was keeping such documentation at the Florida residence, Politico stated.
Merrick Garland and FBI Director Chris Wray have failed within their mission to uphold regulations. They will have become political hucksters plus they are completely destroying our constitution and gaining a two-tiered system of justice, Patel argued. (RELATED: Isnt It Almost Orwellian?
