Kate Winslet Taken up to Hospital After Fall While Filming in Croatia

Kate Winslet is preparing to make contact with work following a hospital visit carrying out a mishap while filming the next project in Croatia.

The actress was shooting her titular role in the historical drama film Lee when an on-set accident resulted in her being taken up to a nearby hospital to make sure that she was OK, her reps confirmed to The Hollywood Reporter. Winslet will resume filming this week as scheduled.

Kate slipped and was taken up to hospital as a precautionary measure required by the production, her team said. She actually is fine and you will be filming, as planned, this week.

The 46-year-old Oscar winner will portray photographer Lee Miller in the film that targets her life, including her are a war correspondent for Vogue during World War II. The cast for director Ellen Kuras movie includes Marion Cotillard, Jude Law, Andrea Riseborough and Josh OConnor.

Winslet, who includes a role in the upcoming Avatar: JUST HOW of Water, was lately seen on the tiny screen with HBOs Mare of Easttown, which earned her an Emmy Award this past year. Recent film credits include Ammonite, Blackbird and The Mountain Between Us.

Throughout a 2017 interview with THRs Awards Chatter podcast, the seven-time Oscar nominee said that the joy she feels while acting have not diminished through the years: I really like it as part of your, and I’ll still think it’s great when Im 75.

She had previously told THR that she never really had a back-up career path at heart, explaining, I dont have an enormous business brain; Im sensible, but I dont have a small business brain. And Im not just one for offices and wearing high heel shoes to work each day forget it. It had been about acting, always, it certainly was.
