Larry Elder teases presidential run at CPAC

Larry Elder teased a run for president in 2024 while attending the Conservative Political Action Conference in Texas.

I’m getting a large amount of feedback in regards to a possible run for a few higher office. Ill just leave it this way, Elder told Phoenix Legg, a 15-year-old independent journalist in the lobby of the Hilton Anatole hotel in Dallas on Friday. I’d consider running for something apart from governor of California.

There arent way too many offices which are more important that governor of California apart from maybe some office in Washington D.C. I cant think about what that office may be. But Im not prepared to make any announcement at this time, he teased.

Elder, a longtime radio host, ran unsuccessfully against California Gov. Gavin Newsom in the us recall election this past year.

Newsom beat back your time and effort with an increase of than 60% of the vote.

A buoyant Elder, however, called the campaign an extremely successful venture and cited his strong base of donors beyond California.
