Lincolnwood police: Jeep, bank cards, drivers license stolen

The next items were extracted from the Lincolnwood Police Department reports and pr announcements. An arrest will not constitute a finding of guilt.

AUTOMOBILE Theft

An unlocked 2013 Jeep Laredo with the main element fob inside was reported stolen July 28 from the 4100 block of Lunt Avenue, police said. The Laredo was valued at $16,000.

Theft

Two energy beverages were reported stolen July 26 from the gas station on the 7200 block of Cicero Avenue, police said.

Disorderly Conduct

Police are investigating a confrontation July 27 on the 4700 block on Touhy Avenue where one individual could have flashed a firearm, police said. Nobody is in custody.

Criminal Trespass

An unlocked 2019 Honda CRV was entered July 28 since it was parked on the 7200 block of Lowell Avenue, police said. Nothing was reported stolen.

An unlocked 2015 Jeep Cherokee was entered July 28 since it was parked on the 7000 block of Keeler Avenue, police said. Nothing was reported stolen.

AUTOMOBILE Part Theft

A catalytic converter was reported stolen on a 2006 Lexus TX 400 July 28 from the 7000 block of Keeler Avenue, police said. The converter was valued at $700.

DUI

Juan Santiago Diaz, 28, of the 1600 block of South Avers Avenue, Chicago, was charged July 30 with driving while impaired of alcohol, driving with a blood alcohol content greater than .08, driving with out a valid license, making an unsafe lane change, operating an uninsured automobile, driving with expired registration and failure to signal when he was stopped in the 4300 block of Touhy Avenue, police said. He premiered on bond and contains a scheduled court date of Sept. 6.

Burglary To AUTOMOBILE

Bank cards and a drivers license were reported stolen July 30 from an unlocked 2012 Toyota Corolla parked on the 6600 block of Longmeadow Drive, police said. The missing items were valued at $200.

Criminal Defacement

The CTA bus shelter on the 6500 block of Cicero Avenue was reported defaced with graffiti July 31, police said. A damage estimate had not been available.
