Lost Ark players are once more benefitting from the pretty old guarantee with regards to MMOs: if updates and cases of maintenance don’t summary once the schedule says they’ll, players are most likely getting compensated. Smilegate RPG and Amazon Games announced this week that players will be benefiting from free loot following release of the September 7th update that was associated with “extended downtime and multiple delays” that pushed back the release of the update.
As may be the case with these “we’re sorry” gifts, the loot distributed this time around is nothing to show your nose up at neither is it anything revolutionary. It includes a handful of chests to open plus some Pheon in addition to a “Growth Support Pack” which includes even more goodies inside. The entire contents of the maintenance apology package is seen below:
Lost Ark Apology Loot
- Crystalline Aura 5 Day x1
- Aura of Resonance Recovery Elixir (14 days) x2
- 3 Battle Items Chest x3
- Una’s Tasks [Daily] +1 x3
- Pheon x20
- Growth Support Pack
- Destruction Stone Selection Pouch x5
- Guardian Stone Selection Pouch x12
- Honing Shard Selection Chest x10
Amazon apologized more often than once this week for the lengthy delay that brought the overall game offline all night. That isn’t too uncommon with regards to updates for the big online flash games such as this, but again, players could at the very least be pretty certain that they had something looking forward to them once maintenance wrapped up.
“Unfortunately today’s maintenance is facing yet another extension, requiring yet another 4 hours and an uptime of 9 PM PT / 6 AM CEST. Regarding maintenance finishing sooner than this, we shall re-open servers as quickly as possible,” among the apologies from the publisher said. “Many thanks for the patience.”
The update itself included some new features and also a lot of fixes for different regions of the overall game, but no new raids or classes were released in that one. You can go through the full patch notes here.
