On Thursday, Meghan Markle turns 41, and in accordance with People, shes celebrating privately with her husband, Prince Harry, and their children, Archie and Lili Mountbatten-Windsor, in California. But likely before Meghan was awake, she already had well wishes from her in-laws back the U.K. Each morning, Prince William and Kate Middleton wished her a happy birthday from their Twitter account, and about 5 minutes later, Prince Charles and Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall, did exactly the same.
Kate and Williams account said, Wishing a happy birthday to The Duchess of Sussex! Camilla and Charles added a balloon emoji with their post, which read, Happy Birthday to the Duchess of Sussex.
The accounts both used photos of Meghan attending the Platinum Jubilee service of thanksgiving for Queen Elizabeth at St. Pauls Cathedral. Using public social media marketing to celebrate birthdays has turned into a tiny royal tradition, plus they usually feature either family photos or pictures at a recently available formal royal event. Meghans presence at the service was her first appearance at the official royal engagement since Commonwealth Day, shortly before Harry and Meghan stepped back from their roles as senior royals and moved to THE UNITED STATES.
This past year, Meghan celebrated her birthday by launching an Archewell mentorship program called 40X40, where she asked 40 prominent friends to mentor women wanting to go back to the workforce following the pandemic for 40 minutes each. She announced this program in a humorous video with Melissa McCarthy, which also featured a glimpse of Harry juggling by way of a window at the couples Santa Barbara home. Princess Eugenie, Adele, Gloria Steinem, Jos Andrs, and Stella McCartney were also the large choice of mentors.
