My Master DOES NOT HAVE ANY Tail TV Anime Character PV Introduces Tricksy Tanuki

Mameda, a tanuki girl in human form, laughs heartily and swings her paper fan while practicing rakugo in a scene from the upcoming My Master Has No Tail TV anime.

It’s almost time and energy to pull some pranks on humans in the Taisho Era, just because a new character preview video and japan broadcast schedule have already been revealed for My Master DOES NOT HAVE ANY Tail (known in Japan as Uchi no Shishou wa Shippo ga nai), the next TV anime in line with the comedy manga by TNSK in regards to a shape-shifting tanuki girl who falls deeply in love with the art of rakugo.

The PV (below) targets the primary character, Mameda (CV: MAO), a lady tanuki who leaves her rural village for the big city of Osaka with the intent on tricking humans and then find that today’s world doesn’t have enough time for illusions and pranks.

The initial My Master DOES NOT HAVE ANY Tail manga is serialized in Kodansha’s Good! Morning seinen manga magazine, and an English language version can be available from Kodansha USA, who describe the story of the series the following:

Mameda is really a tanuki who was simply born in the incorrect era – all she wants would be to trick humans, but that age of tanuki shenanigans has ended. But one woman, a rakugo master named Bunko, shows Mameda it’s still possible to cast magic on humans…only with words, not illusions. Mameda is set to become Bunko’s apprentice, but can she convince the stoic master to take her on…?

A key visual for the upcoming My Master Has No Tail TV anime featuring the main cast dressed in the kimonos of rakugo storytellers.
