Joey McIntyre on Making “Return of the Mac” With Family
There are several new spouses on the market.
New Kids on the market‘s member Jonathan Knight and Harley Rodriguez have tied the knot after greater than a decade together. When asked if he and Harley had finally wed during an Aug. 24 interview with Entertainment Tonight, the 53-year-old confirmed everything with a straightforward, “We did.”
As the Farmhouse Fixer host didn’t reveal exactly if they said “I really do,” he explained that their official celebration hasn’t occurred yet because of the COVID-19 pandemic. Be confident, Jonathan teased, “It’s coming.”
News of the pair’s nuptials comes six years after Jonathan popped the question throughout a visit to Africa. Back 2016, while on Jenny McCarthy‘s Sirius XM series Inner Circle, Jonathan broke down just what happened when he proposed. The special moment featured a raft dinner on the Zambezi River with hippopotamus in the backdrop and crocodiles swimming by.
He noted at that time he and Harley, who began dating in 2008, “have always considered ourselves a married couple,” but weeks before they left for Africa, he figured “this is enough time to pop the question and ensure it is official.”

Looking back on the romance ahead of getting engaged, Jonathan shared he wasn’t always sure who should initiate that next thing.
“See, that is the funny thing with two guys: It certainly is hard like, who proposes? Who asks? And I believe that has been our problem,” he told Jenny, who’s married to his NKOTB bandmate Donnie Wahlberg. “Just like the whole time I’d been looking forward to him to ask, he’d probably been looking forward to me to ask, also it just reaches a spot where somebody’s gotta take action.”
Now the one thing left to accomplish is celebrate their union.
