Ojeda joins MSR for Bathurst 1000

Carrying out a wildcard programme with Walkinshaw Andretti United, Ojeda will join MSR for the fantastic Race for another year running.

He’ll continue in exactly the same #35 entry he shared this past year with Zane Goddard, the pair having experienced contention for a high 10 before Ojeda crashed out late in the race.

This season Ojeda will undoubtedly be partnered with Todd Hazelwood, who replaced Goddard for the 2022 season.

I’m really looking towards teaming up with Todd Hazelwood at MSR for what will undoubtedly be my second Bathurst 1000 focus on the team, said Ojeda.

Up to now, the team has already established an incredible year and hopefully we are able to increase that in October with an excellent result.

The team has made an enormous step forward this season which is excellent to see. The expansion of personnel and resources available is fairly clear, plus they are getting the leads to show for this which includes been excellent.

For me personally, it really is exciting to obviously be teaming up using them again and I anticipate jumping in the automobile.

Ojeda will drive the automobile today throughout a test at Queensland Raceway before getting involved in the dedicated co-driver session at Sandown in a few days.

Ojeda completes the MSR Bathurst line-up, with Aaron Seton to talk about the #34 entry with Jack Le Brocq.

The Bathurst 1000 will need put on October 6-9.
