PFL signs Muhammad Alis grandson to an amateur contract

On Wednesday the Professional Fighters League announced it had signed Biaggio Ali Walsh to an amateur MMA contract. Ali Walsh may be the grandson of the famed boxer, Muhammad Ali. His will debut for the promotion on the PFL Finals card, slated for November at a spot yet to be announced.

The 24-year-old fighter is really a former running back at Bishop Gorman SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL in NEVADA, and began his MMA journey in 2020 by training at Xtreme Couture.Ali Walsh may be the brother of professional boxer Nico.

I wish to thank Professional Fighters League because of their support and confidence in me. I cant wait to enter the PFL SmartCage, said Ali Walsh via news release. I’ve a legacy to call home around, a legacy that my grandfather began, that my buddy and I continue, I thought we would continue that legacy within the Professional Fighters League. My only goal would be to one day turn into a PFL World Champion.

The PFL will develop the young talent throughout his career.
