Phoenix Suns Owner Robert Sarver Receives 12 months Suspension & $10 Million Fine After Investigation Concludes He Made Racial & Misogynistic Comments

On Tuesday, the NBA announced Robert Sarver, who owns both Phoenix Suns and the Phoenix Mercury, has been suspended for per year and fined $10 million after a study figured he used racial slurs, in addition to engaged in inequitable conduct toward female employees, plus much more within his time being an owner.

During his suspension, Sarver can’t be present at any NBA or WNBA facility or take part in any team events or activities. He also cannot represent either the Suns or Mercury privately or publicly, or have any involvement with the business enterprise for either team or both leagues generally.
