Riverdale’s KJ Apa Shocks Fans With Dramatic Hair Transformation

Riverdale is gradually drawing to a finish after five years on air, and when KJ Apa‘s latest selfie is anything to put into practice, Archie Andrews has already been gone.

Following on from Riverdale‘s mind- (and time-) bending season six finale, KJ Apa has revealed a dramatic new look on social media marketing, announcing a “reset” to fans.

Bidding farewell to the Archie Andrews role and his iconic red hair, KJ showed off his newly-shaved at once Instagram the other day.

“Reset,” he wrote, before confirming that his new look relates to his upcoming role in motorcycle racing movie One Fast Move.

One Fast Move, that was announced last month, will dsicover Apa portray a dishonorably discharged soldier who decides to reconcile along with his estranged father and pursue his imagine racing Supersport motorcycles.

While training, Apa’s character meets a small-town aspiring singer who quickly turns his world ugly, wearing down the walls he’d built while growing up having an absent father.

Before we see KJ in One Fast Move, however, we’ll be seeing him as Riverdale‘s Archieonly when he and all of those other gang return for the show’s final season, are going to in (SPOILER!) 1955.

Checking concerning the surprise twist in the most recent season finale, showrunner Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa explained the way the characters’ transportation to the ’50s came into being.

“We discussed it in the area and we were type of like, ‘Gosh, could we return back and put everyone back senior high school?’ But we’ve done that,” he explained.

“So we thought: Imagine if we get back to high school, but rather of senior high school in today’s, we ensure it is senior high school in the 1950s, that is how a large amount of people think about the Archie characters.”

Riverdale airs on The CW will end with season 7.
