Robyn Griggs, a television and film star most widely known on her behalf roles on soap operas Another World and something Life TO CALL HOME, has died at age 49.
The stars official Facebook account announced the sad news Saturday afternoon in a statement.
Hi everyone, With much heart, I’m saddened to announce Robyns passing, the post began.
However, she actually is no more suffering and would want us to keep in mind that and the nice memories.I’ll remember how open she was to telling her story, and accepting of me helping her tell it. She wished to help people and spread the term of her story to accomplish it. I was honored to take action.RIP my pal, I really like you and smile when I believe of you.
Griggs who married golf pro Mark Wiley in 2013 was very transparent with friends and fans when it found her health troubles, as she was identified as having stage 4 cervical cancer in 2020 so when recently as last month revealed that she had developed four new tumors.
I’ve 4 new tumors. 2 new tumors on my liver, one on abdominal muscle and large one on right side lymph node, Griggs posted to her account July 7. So in pain and I goto chemo Monday am. I told them whatever needs doing,. Im set for the fight.
The account also confirms that on Aug. 11 just two days before her passing the actress moved into hospice care.

Griggs played Stephanie Hobart onOne Life to call home in a complete of six episodes in 1991. She continued to play Maggie Cory on Another World for just two years.
