Sam Asghari Defends Britney Spears After Kevin Federline Claims Sons Don’t Desire to See Her

The pop star’s husband has arrived at her defense following her ex Kevin Federline‘s bombshell claims aboutthe former couple’s sons, Sean Preston Federline, 16, andJayden James Federline, 15. In a rare interview withITV News,shared beforehand with the Mail on Sundaynewspaper, the pop star’s former husband saidtheir boyshave not seentheir motherfor months and “decided they’re not seeing her at this time.”

Based on the newspaper,Kevincited Britney’spast Instagram posts of her nudepics, which are censored, and online commentsabout him and her estranged family as known reasons for the boy’s decision.

“My partner hasn’t posted a nude selfie except of her butt [which] is fairly modest nowadays,” Sam wrote on his Instagram Story on Aug. 6. “All the posts were implied nudity [which] is seen in virtually any ad for lotion or soap.”

He also wrote, “There is absolutely no validity to his statement concerning the kids distancing themselves in fact it is irresponsible to create that statement publicly.”

E! News has already reached out to Kevin’s rep for comment and contains not heard back.

Britney, who divorced Kevin in 2007 and married Sam in June, had responded herself to her ex-husband’s claims on her behalf own Instagram. “It saddens me to listen to that my ex husband has made a decision to discuss the partnership between me and my children,” she wrote, adding, “It concerns me the truth that associated with predicated on my Instagram … it had been A long time before Instagram … I gave them everything … Only 1 word: HURTFUL.”

Britney added, “Within my conservatorship I was controlled and monitored nearly 15 years … I needed permission merely to take Tylenol !!! I will attempt doing WAAAY a lot more than going topless on the beach…just like a baby !!!!!”

In his Instagram response, Sam also insulted Federline. “The boys have become smart and you will be 18 soon to create their very own decisions and could eventually realize the ‘tough’ part was having a father who hasn’t worked much in over 15 years,” wrote Britney’s husband, an actor and model. “Kevin’s gravy train will end soon [which] probably explains the timing of the hurtful statements.”

The boys live withKevin, who obtained 70 percent custody of thesein 2018, his wife Victoria Prince, aformer volleyball player turned special education teacher, and their two daughters.Britneypays child supportto her ex, who spent some time working as adancer, an actor, possible show participant and a DJ.

In his interview, Kevin said he’d welcomeJamie Spears, Britney’s estranged dad and former co-conservator, back the boys’ lives, should they wanted this. In 2019, he previously obtained a restraining order againsthim followingan alleged physical altercation between Jamie and Sean. Police later determined there is “insufficient proof a offense was committed by Mr. Spears.”(E! News had reached out to Jamie for comment at that time and hadn’t heard back.)

Kevin also credited Jamie for saving Britney’s life by putting her under a conservatorship, which ended last November. In a 2021 court testimony, the singer called thearrangement “abusive.” She’s often publicly criticized her dad, whose lawyer has said thatJamie’s “actions were finished with the data and consent of Britney, her court-appointed attorney, and/or the court.”

In his Instagram post, Sammaintained that Kevin’s”character is revealed by approval of the cruel 13 year [conservatorship] and his loyalty to [Jamie] indicates his approval at [the] time of its conception aswell.”

He continued, “Items that are actually considered Normal issues and behavior easily handled therapy or different ways were magnified to justify a 13 year prison sentence. Anyone approving of it really is wrong or profiting from it somehow.”

In June 2021, after Britney spoke out about her conservatorship in court, Kevin’s attorney,Mark Vincent Kaplan, said in a statement to People, “Britney is not served well by the conservatorship and it’s really not in keeping with what she wants,. I believe that she will be able to challenge that. And when it’s what’s best on her behalf, Kevin supports it.”
