Following a news a Taiwanese store had some promotional material for the overall game that revealed a November release date plus some upcoming DLC, Sega’s Japanese YouTube account accidentally uploaded a brief trailer for the overall game.

The business has since removed it, however, not before eagle-eyed fans (and Nibel) on Twitter spotted the trailer, which contained a release date 8th November.

That is slightly not the same as the date we reported last Friday, but since it’s from Sega itself, it’s apt to be correct.

Sonic Frontiers is because of appear during Gamescom’s Opening Night Live, which begins at 11am PDT / 7pm BST tonight. At this stage, it seems more than likely that the release date will undoubtedly be officially confirmed then, and Sega just accidentally uploaded japan version of the trailer a touch too early. Perhaps Sega might use this adorable little character, Koco, to distract us out of this accidental reveal?
