‘The Fruit of Evolution: Before I Knew It, MY ENTIRE LIFE Had It Made’ Sequel Anime’s Teaser Reveals Cast, New Staff, January 2023 Premiere

The state website for the anime of Miku and U35‘s Shinka no Mi ~Shiranai Uchi ni Kachigumi Jinsei~ (The Fruit of Evolution: Before I Knew It, MY ENTIRE LIFE Had It Made) light novel series began streaming a teaser trailer for Shin Shinka no Mi ~Shiranai Uchi ni Kachigumi Jinsei~ (True: The Fruit of Evolution: Before I Knew It, MY ENTIRE LIFE Had It Made), the sequel anime. The video reveals that Miyuki Sawashiro will voice the brand new character Destra, and in addition reveals the anime’s January 2023 premiere date.

The video also reveals the anime’s new staff. The prior director Yoshiaki Okumura is currently the principle director, with Shige Fukase (THAT POINT I ACQUIRED Reincarnated as a Slime episode director) because the new director. Iroha Mizuki and Nobuhide Hayashi will be the new character designers, replacing Minami Eda. Hiroyasu Yano, Arisa Okehazama, and Yki Sait will be the new composers, replacing Asuka Ogura, Hideyuki Gushimiyagi, and sky_delta. HoriPro is credited for music assistance. CSPG is credited for backgrounds. Mikihiro Harabe may be the new art director, replacing Seo Gu Lee. Stay Luck is credited for casting. Hisashi Muramatsu may be the new sound director, replacing Ry Tanaka.

Though in the bottom of his school’s social pecking order, he and his entire school are upended when everyone in the institution is transported into another world. Seiichi finds himself alone and approached by way of a gorilla, who rather than attacking him, proposes to him. Right now that Seiichi thinks that “I assume a gorilla is okay too,” they discover the Fruit of Evolution, so when they eat it, their lives are suddenly changed once more.

Miku began serializing the story on the “Shsetsuka ni Nar” (Let’s Become Novelists) website in January 2014, where it really is still ongoing. Futabasha‘s Monster Bunko light novel label began publishing the novel on the net in September 2014, with illustrations by U35 (Lapis Re:LiGHTs, Aquatrope of White Sand character designs).

Sorano launched a manga adaptation of the novels on Futabasha‘s Web Comic Action manga website in September 2017.

The novels inspired a previous television anime series that premiered in October 2021 and had 12 episodes. Crunchyroll streamed the series since it aired.
