This new Netflix series may be your worst nightmare

One hit Television show and Netflix series after another has made broadcast gold out of terror in the skies. Lost, needless to say, can be an easy example that involves mind, with the breakup of Oceanic Flight 815 in mid-air and its own subsequent crash on a mysterious island. Manifest did its version of a similar thing (and, talking about which, creator Jeff Rake has teased that people might be obtaining a trailer for Manifest Season 4, Part 1, on August 28 fingers crossed!).

A newly released show just put into Netflixs library, meanwhile, takes all that your worst fears about flying and amps it around 11, to make a survival thriller called Keep Breathing.

Keep Breathing now streaming on Netflix

Heres the way the streamer describes this 6-episode limited series. After her private plane crashes in the remote Canadian frontier, lone survivor and NY lawyer, Liv, must battle both an unforgiving wilderness and past personal demons to remain alive.

The show originates from co-showrunners and writers Brendan Gall and Martin Gero (Blindspot, The Lovebirds) and Maggie Kiley (Dr. Death, Dirty John).

No ones coming.

No-one knows were here.

Youre by yourself.

The visuals certainly grabbed me, as a viewer, and I came across my stomach indeed lurching once we start to see the plane ferrying the primary characters plunging rapidly towards a lake. One knock contrary to the series that I suspect might keep some viewers away: Theres too little, for starters, a minumum of one big name here. When thats the case, the story must sell the Netflix series even more.

Reviews and reaction

Melissa Barrera easily held my attention and is really a fine actress, so put her in the positive column. But, when i say, the story here’s nothing you havent seen before not necessarily. Thats why I suspect many viewers can provide that one a pass, although its false that this is really a bad Netflix series at all. It can its job, and it’ll keep you occupied when youve got the leisure time to view it. That is, at the very least, the minimum that I ask of the streamer.

Also, we ought to give Keep Breathing props, Perhaps, for not stretching out the plots contrivances over a full-length group of episodes. If youre not likely to break the mold, then respect my time and attention and just enter and obtain out. More Netflix series should do this.
