Legendary quarterback Tom Brady rejects the idea that players elect to sign with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers due to his presence.

In accordance with ProFootballTalk’s Michael David Smith, Brady expressed his belief that it’s the complete package presented by the Buccaneers organization that attracts free agents, saying:

“Naturally, I’m a mature player, and I am very fortunate to learn plenty of guys. Guys choose this team due to the team, not due to me. We’ve an excellent organization, great teammates, and I believe folks are excited ahead join an excellent group, a great band of men. It’s never about one individual. That’s not ever what this sport is approximately. It is the ultimate team sport. I really like using players which are professional, players that are looking to work hard, and players that put the team first.”

The newest exemplory case of a big-name player choosing the Bucs occurred the other day when potential future Hall of Fame wide receiver Julio Jones signed a one-year cope with Tampa.

Whether Jones’ decision was based solely on Brady or the complete package, there is absolutely no question that Brady has made the Buccaneers an even more desirable destination.

Ahead of Brady’s arrival in 2020, the Bucs had missed the playoffs in 12 straight seasons and hadn’t had an absolute record since 2016.

Brady changed that immediately, leading Tampa to an 11-5 record and a brilliant Bowl win in his first season at the helm. That marked the seventh Super Bowl win of Brady’s career when combined with six he won as an associate of the brand new England Patriots.

Last season, the Bucs won the NFC South with a 13-4 mark and returned to the playoffs, however they fell to the eventual Super Bowl champion LA Rams in the NFC Divisional Round.

Brady announced his retirement following the season, but that only lasted for approximately per month before he announced he was returning for a 23rd NFL season at age 45.

While observers have long assumed that Brady will fall off eventually, that was not the case, as he continues to execute at at the very top, MVP-caliber level.

Last season, Brady enjoyed among the best statistical campaigns of his career, completing 67.5 percent of his passes for a league-leading 5,316 yards and 43 touchdowns.

Considering that degree of performance, there’s little doubt that players are attracted to the Buccaneers due to him, particularly when it involves skill-position players like Jones.

Even with tight end Rob Gronkowski retired for another time, Brady could have an embarrassment of riches at his disposal in 2022 with wideouts Mike Evans, Chris Godwin, Russell Gage and Jones, along with tight end Cameron Brate and running back Leonard Fournette.

Brady also offers the advantage of a high offensive line and a solid defense, and there is absolutely no question that his play had a substantial submit helping the Bucs come up with arguably the very best overall roster in the NFL.
