The WWE women’s tag team championship tournament has lost among its top contending teams.

WWE announced Monday that Toxic Attraction has gone out of the tournament due to a personal injury to Gigi Dolin. Dolin and Jacy Jayne made their debut on SmackDown Live last Friday with a first-round make an impression on the team of Natalya and Sonya Deville.

Toxic Attraction’s replacement will undoubtedly be dependant on a “second chance” Fatal 4-Way match with this Friday’s bout of SmackDown.

Toxic Attraction was originally inserted in to the tournament as an alternative for the team of Zoey Stark and Nikkita Lyons, who have been injured and medically unavailable, respectively, for last week’s first-round match. Dolin and Jayne are two-time WWE NXT tag team champions, and several believed they should’ve experienced the tournament to begin with over a team without prior history like Stark and Lyons.

The women’s tag team titles were vacated when Sasha Banks and Naomi walked out of an bout of Monday Night Raw in-may over creative differences. The duo reportedly decided to return to the business earlier this month, though they haven’t been back on WWE television by yet.

Another teams which have advanced to the next round of the women’s tag team tournament are Iyo Sky and Dakota Kai, Alexa Bliss and Asuka, and Aliyah and Raquel Rodriguez. The date of the ultimate match have not yet been announced.

Kai and Sky are set to handle Bliss and Asuka with this week’s bout of Raw. Both teams may also be involved with a six-woman tag team match at Clash at the Castle on Sept. 3, with Bliss and Asuka teaming with Raw women’s champion Bianca Belair against Kai, Sky and Bayley.
