There’s never been a shortage of what things to watch the week after Labor Day, which one is not any exception. It will likely be a particularly newsworthy week for daytime TV, as Jennifer Hudson launches her new talk show, and Drew Barrymore returns for season three of hers. Then there’s Days of our Lives, which moves to Peacock on Monday, September 12 after nearly sixty years on NBC.

Instead of Days of our Lives will undoubtedly be NBC’s new midday news show, NBC News Daily, which couldn’t come at a far more monumental time. Considering that you will have ongoing coverage of the life span and memorial of Queen Elizabeth II (who passed on last Thursday, September 8), NBC will lean into its royal correspondents all around the UK.

Talking about NBCand Peacock for that matterthey may also be broadcasting this year’s Emmys, which proceed to Monday night concerning not hinder Sunday Night Football. While I’m still upset that the ultimate season of THAT IS Us didn’t nab any show or acting nominations, there’s still too much to root for, from Kaley Cuoco’s stunningly raw performance as Cassie Bowden in season two of The Flight Attendant to almost everything and everyone on The White Lotus. For more on the nominees and what things to watch out for, see below.

This week also sees the return of two critically-acclaimed shows: The Handmaid’s Tale and Atlanta. There is also The Bachelorette, which includes all of a sudden become probably the most dramatic show ever because of Jesse Palmer’s cryptic message by the end of last week’s episode. If you want something more lighthearted, rejoice at the news headlines that THE FANTASTIC British Baking Show returns this week.

And on that note, I’ll see you back here next Sunday to inform you about my new favorite comedy of the entire year and an awesome mini reunion for just one of one’s all-time favorite Television shows. How’s that for a tease?
