What’s the common body temperatureand could it be trying to cool off?

The normal belief that human bodies run at 98.6F (37C) is apparently wrong, plus some evidence suggests our temperatures have decreased as time passes.

For 150 years, 98.6 degrees Fahrenheit was regarded as the average body’s temperature for a wholesome individual. But that number is wrong.

But also for at least days gone by 2 decades, researchers have known that the common body temperature is in fact colder, about 97.8 degrees Fahrenheit, and that anywhere between 96.3 and 99.3 degreesFahrenheit is at a standard range for our body. Yet 98.6 has endured because the magic number among concerned parents and doctors alike, displayed on from drugstore thermometers to medical centers webpages.

Doctors are no not the same as anybody else, says Julie Parsonnet, an infectious disease doctor at Stanford University. Weve been raised with that because the normal value since we were little.
