Women Entrepreneurs in Texas Can Make an application for $5,000 Grants Later This Month

Women start nearly 1 / 2 of all new smaller businesses. But many still battle to safe enough funding to cultivate and sustain their operations. A grant program in Texas aims to greatly help with this particular discrepancy.

Texas Womans University StartHER Grant Program

Texas Womans University is offering innovation grants to aid women entrepreneurs through the entire state. The StartHER grant program is available to both current and aspiring women entrepreneurs across Texas. Texas Womans Universitys Center for Women Entrepreneurs has recently run six cycles of grant funding in the last several years to aid women-owned businesses and cause them to become undertake innovative projects. In this round, 25 businesses will receive grants of $5,000. Applications open September 22 and you will be accepted until October 22.

Bergen County ARPA Grants

Bergen County, NJ is opening a fresh small company grant program using its allocation of American Rescue Plan Act funds. Eligible businesses can make an application for around $2,500 to cover expenses caused by pandemic related closures or interruptions. Priority will head to businesses which are registered as Women COMPANY, Minority COMPANY, Veteran-Owned SMALL COMPANY, or perhaps a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned SMALL COMPANY with hawaii. Grants will undoubtedly be awarded on a first-come, first-served basis.

Downtown Hanover BLOOM Grants

The Downtown Hanover BLOOM Grant program is currently accepting applications because of its 2022 funding round. Eligible businesses can make an application for between $500 and $1,500. Local organization Partners for Community is partnering with local chambers of commerce and state representatives to invest in and facilitate this program.

Chula Vista SMALL COMPANY and Nonprofit Relief Fund

Chula Vista, California is partnering with the NORTH PARK Foundation to provide COVID-19 recovery grants to aid local smaller businesses and nonprofits. The $3.6 million program is funded through the American Rescue Plan Act alongside local funds from the NORTH PARK Foundation. To qualify, businesses and organizations will need to have 100 or fewer employees and generate net profits significantly less than $150,000 every year. Other eligibility criteria apply aswell. The application form period is open now and closes on October 27.
