The Superstars and a large number of members of the WWE Universe descended on Nashville, Tennessee to take the action at Nissan Stadium on Saturday.

The largest attraction on the card was the billed final chapter of the feud between Roman Reigns and Brock Lesnar. This storyline has spanned many years and several matches, but WWE wants us to trust this is the final encounter.

We also saw both women’s titles at risk when Liv Morgan defended the SmackDown Women’s Championship against Ronda Rousey, and Becky Lynch challenged Bianca Belair for the Raw women’s title.

Logan Paul was the big celebrity guest when he took on The Miz, but we also saw Pat McAfee step in to the ring again to defend myself against Happy Corbin.

Let’s have a look at precisely what happened through the Biggest Party of the summertime.

The initial match of the night time was the showdown between Belair and Lynch for the Raw women’s title. This feud has spanned a whole year since BIG STYLE Becks returned this past year to defeat The EST in 26 seconds, which means this was Belair’s opportunity for redemption.

In early stages, Belair used her strength to regulate the challenger, so Lynch had to depend on her technical capability to obtain the upper hand.

This match was physical from the initial bell and stayed competitive the complete time. Both women were seeking to make certain they kicked this showcase with among the best matches of the night time.

They fought in and from the ring and used just about anything they might to inflict damage without risking a DQ. The steps, ring posts and barricades all arrived to play. We saw several creative spots that helped get this to feel very different from their other encounters.

The EST could secure the win with a Spanish Fly accompanied by the KOD for the pin to cap off an excellent opener. Surprisingly, Lynch offered her hand as a show of respect plus they hugged to a good reaction from the crowd.

Bayley finished up creating a surprising return as Belair celebrated her win in the ring, which was immediately accompanied by Dakota Kai and Io Shirai joining her in the aisle. Becky stood hand and hand with Belair, but there is no physical altercation. This is all done perfectly.

Winner: Bianca Belair wins by pinfall

    Grade: A

    Notable Moments and Observations

  • Both women went all out making use of their gear because of this show. Lynch appeared as if an anime villain to some extent, while Belair went for a far more appropriate search for Nashville.
  • Lynch’s technical ability isn’t discussed enough. She does so many little things perfectly. Even something similar to a wristlock looks just a little smoother if it is her carrying it out.
  • Just how Lynch tried to place Belair into position so she could pull her in to the ring post by her braid was a little awkward however, not egregiously bad.
  • Watching Belair catch Lynch coming off the very best rope and just stand back up while holding her was an extraordinary display of power.
  • The Spanish Fly Belair hit from the center rope was awesome.
  • WWE is currently calling Io Shirai “Io Sky” instead.

Ciampa and Maryse accompanied The Miz to the ring for his match against his WrestleMania tag team partner, Paul.

It felt like Paul was trying his far better show off the truth that he’s got been training for more work in the ring, also to his credit, the task has paid. A number of things he did looked ideal for somebody with so little experience.

The story of the match was The Miz attempting to use his veteran experience to regulate his inexperienced opponent, but he also relied on Ciampa to assist once the ref was distracted.

It will always be hard to inform in case a stadium crowd is into something as the noise escapes through the open roof, nonetheless it appeared like both men got the right reactions at certain spots. The truth that that is only Paul’s second actual match proved he’s got been investing in the work to ensure he exceeded expectations.

Immediately after the ref tried on top of that Ciampa from ringside, AJ Styles’ music hit and he arrived of nowhere to beat The Miz’s buddy up and send him packing through the crowd. This allowed Paul going to a springboard forearm for a detailed two-count.

The social media marketing star could obtain the win by hitting The Miz along with his own Skull-Crushing Finale. This is much better than anyone expected it to be and likely changed several opinions about Paul along the way.

    Winner: Logan Paul by pinfall

    Grade: B+

    Notable Moments and Observations

  • The jackets The Miz, Ciampa and Maryse wore were the colour of Nickelodeon slime.
  • The Miz big-timing Paul but lightly kicking him being an insult was funny.
  • Paul leaping outrageous rope and hitting a moonsault to the ground was a good surprise.
  • Seeing Paul dive off the very best turnbuckle to place The Miz through the announce table had not been something anybody expected when this match began.
