Its what the Yankees were searching for if they promoted Cabrera from Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre to serve in a computer program role.

But thats not absolutely all.

For an extremely young player, he plays free and possible for it being his first taste of the big leagues, Boone said Friday. Thats not necessarily easy to come across. It is possible to tell he loves playing the overall game.

Since his arrival, he’s got been a normal in the lineup, helping spell DJ LeMahieu (still coping with a sore toe), and also serve as outfield depth with Hicks struggling and Giancarlo Stanton not prepared to go back to the field after missing over per month with left Achilles tendinitis.

Cabreras average exit velocity is 89.4 mph, just behind LeMahieu and Anthony Rizzo (89.6), and before Andrew Benintendi (89.2) and Isiah Kiner-Falefa (86.4).
